Space Exploration Technologies Corp. or simply SpaceX is an aerospace manufacturer founded by technology entrepreneur Elon Musk. It was established in 2002 keeping in mind the colonization of Mars, but at a reduced space transportation cost. Headquartered in California, this private company is set to see its first manned space flight taking off for the International Space Station on May 27. The mission named Demo-2 will have NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley aboard its spacecraft, the Crew Dragon. If it happens, it’s going to bring a revolution in the domain of space privatization. SpaceX is also the largest commercial satellite constellation operator globally with the third launch of the Starlink project in January this year.
